It feels like forever since

  • Reading: Vanity Fair
I last submitted anything or wrote a journal! Almost a year! I'm getting so slack with all this deviantART lark but it's only because I haven't got Photoshop on my PC at the moment. That will be remedied tonight when I load it.
I'm also thinking of buying another subscription as that will probably motivate me to use DA. We, as human beings, will use what we pay for in order to get the maximum use of our money, it's just a fact and I am going to be using it my full advantage. That means I will be able to feature people properly again and get more involved with the community!

Also, a quick thank you to everyone who has been favouriting/collecting my work while I've been a bit inactive. I do try to say thank you no matter what, even if it's a bit late.
If I in turn favourite something, it's not out of politeness, believe me, I do actually mean it. I know a lot of people here on DA do a favourite for a favourite because they think it makes them look popular, but I am NOT one of those people and I DO NOT favourite work in turn for a favourite in my gallery.
If you have cats/hamsters/golden retrievers in your gallery then you WILL get a favourite from me because I absolutely love animals and I love filling my page with them as I do not own any myself (the curse of being a student).

So there you are, things are cleared up, I'm going to be making more of an effort and everything is hunky dory!
Hope you're all well. Don't forget to stop by every now and then and say hi and let me know how you're doing, I will reply to you eventually.
xoxo

Headache

Ok so I have moved into my own house with 3 housemates at university and it's not all it's cracked up to be. I fell out with one of them and now she makes life in the house a living hell.
And on top of all that, I have tons of work to do. The second year of Law is such heavy going. The reading has tripled and the questions need a dictionary to decipher them. But I'm managing and I always feel like I've achieved more when I've finished stuff. Although my voluntary coursework has kinda taken a backseat. Oops.

But next week is the Law Ball.
It's really glitzy and I've already bought my dress. Expensive and worth every single penny! Besides the fact that I can barely breath in it, it's the most gorgeous dress I've ever seen, let alone worn! It's got black and gold panels and a halter neck. Really stunning.
From Monsoon. The Rhea collection is anyone is interesting in having a look at their website to see it. Maybe you guys aren't that dorky lol.

I need to get my shit together though. I've decided I want to be a baker despite the law degree, or maybe because of it. I haven't decided which one it is yet. After three years of this degree, I think I'll be equipped to make up my mind once and for all but at the moment, I really want to finish this degree because I'm interested in it, I just don't want to practice it.
Anyone else who shrugged off their degrees for something more favourable?

Anyway, gotta catch some Z's and go to class tomorrow!
See you all later, sorry this has taken so long for me to get my A into G.

Merging accounts

Now that my stock account and my normal account have been successfully merged, it's much easier for you to find what you want in my gallery.
There are tutorials that you are welcome to read and share, but please do not copy them or repost them anywhere.
There are also brushes in my gallery that you are all welcome to use. I'm working on a few actions at the moment and some more brushes that I hope you'll enjoy.

As for my personal art, I have a few things in the works at the moment, but it might take me a while to put them up as I am writing a cook book at the moment and it takes a lot of time.
Between writing the recipes and directions and making the food to photograph it, it takes a large chunk of my time.

Of course, I am also still in awe of my Wii and therefore I spend ages challenging my father to MarioKart.

Hope you're all well. Keep safe.
xoxo

Sorry

  • Reading: Head over Heels
It's been absolutely ages, but it's ok cos I have a few new things to come.
There are four cartoons that I'd like to submit, but I need to take photos of them and clean them up before I post them. You'll be welcome to comment on them and I'd appreciate any feedback you provide.

I also have a few more tutorials to come and I'm going to be combining my stock account and my normal account soon so you'll be able to find everything at this account.

Hope you're all well.
xoxo

Being Legal and All

Well I am now officially legal to do whatever I want in the UK.
I turned 18 on Wednesday, I got my exam results last Thursday and got into my university of choice and my mom crashed and wrote off our car on the same day.
It's been a long week really.

Well done to Vernon with his new @ symbol.
Also, go and check out The Sweet Tooth Contest which interests me. I just need to find time!

Ok so now it's feature time.
Well I'm kinda into the idea of a theme this week so I've chosen the theme of suitcases.
